Igor Besermenji at the 19th Salzburg Europe Summit

Igor Besermenji participated in the 19th Salzburg Europe Summit, in Austria. The two-day summit was once again organized by the Institute of European Regions and supported by the Austrian government, and Besermenji attended the summit for the first time.

One of the topics of this year’s dialogues at the Salzburg Europe Summit was the Western Balkans, including the potential of this region for future development and investment, as well as its further integration into the EU.

Among the attendees were Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria Karl Nehammer, Austrian Minister of Economy and Labor Martin Kocher, several ministers and diplomats from European countries, as well as the former governor of the Salzburg province, Franz Schausberger.
